Manager, Digital Marketing


REPORTS TO: Director, Marketing and Communications


Per Scholas is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to expand the organization’s digital presence through strategic campaigns. You will manage messaging through day-to-day optimization of content across multiple digital platforms as well as identify, research, recommend, and test emerging platforms. Additionally, you will be responsible for designing and updating digital and print art and content consistent with the organization's brand guidelines.

Strategy and decisions will be informed by detailed historical reporting. You will leverage data and your experience to launch and execute marketing campaigns that drive Per Scholas’ audience engagement, student recruitment and partner support through digital platforms.


Manage Strategic Messaging and Brand Compliance:

  • Drive growth strategy to build audience size and engagement levels across social networks and email marketing
  • Manage all aspects of digital campaign execution including creative leadership, launching, monitoring and analyzing campaign successes
  • Maintain Per Scholas digital channels including website, email marketing, social media platforms (i.e. LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube), and digital advertising to ensure Per Scholas brand is represented across all digital platforms.

Deliver Marketing Content and Support

  • Respond timely to ongoing digital marketing and design needs of Per Scholas’ six sites while ensuring brand consistency for all internal and external elements including messaging, collateral, and social media.
  • Manage, place and monitor digital ads on Google AdWords and Facebook; other digital ad placement as directed and relevant; including campaign/AdGroup structure, keywords, ad text, and landing pages. (as distinguished from brand management)
  • Update strategic web and other digital content daily and in real-time as needed.
  • Create and edit collateral as needed using the Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator as needed) and PowerPoint templates.


Professional Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and a minimum of 3-5 years experience managing social and digital media for a growing organization, experience managing projects, moving teams to accomplish specific goals, growing a brand, managing a website and social platforms
  • Track record of success working in fast-paced environments, effective time-management, meticulous attention to detail, and prioritization skills.
  • Proven graphic design experience using Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, web design skills, HTML coding or Craft CMS, experience in email marketing campaigns, MailChimp, A/B testing a plus
  • Experience as a people manager a plus.
  • Strong writing and editing skills are preferred.
