Associate, Admissions -- Dallas

LOCATION: Dallas, TX
REPORTS TO: Managing Director, Dallas 

Per Scholas is seeking a resourceful, team-oriented individual to serve as the Associate, Admissions with our growing Dallas team. Our site is located in the heart of Downtown Dallas where we are within walking distance of many of our corporate and community partners.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

The Associate, Admissions is responsible for supporting the admissions process in Dallas which includes leading information sessions, assessing and interviewing candidates, maintaining data on all applicants in Salesforce, and coordinating special projects and events like graduations and class kickoffs.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Develop diverse recruiting strategies to target potential students (includes collaborative partnerships and recruiting events)
  • Lead information and assessment sessions for prospective candidates
  • Conduct interviews to select program candidates based on eligibility criteria
  • Coordinate final round interviews and manage the final selection process
  • Enter data in real-time on all applicants to the training program and maintain applicant records
  • Use data to drive tactical decisions on the recruiting strategy and admissions process
  • Make appropriate referrals to partner organizations for students that are not selected for the training program
  • Respond to inquiries from prospective candidates
  • Assist in coordination of special projects and events (i.e. graduation and class kick-offs)
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO US

Professional Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree or higher preferred, HS Diploma or equivalent required
  • One to three years of related work experience in admissions, HR recruiting, or customer or client-facing administrative role, preferably in workforce development or other non-profit organization
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Google Suite; knowledge of Salesforce preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel; knowledge of Salesforce.com preferred
  • Proficient in technology software to include Google Suite
  • Prior knowledge and experience managing WIOA requirements is a plus
  • Prior knowledge of Per Scholas operations is a plus
