Senior Associate, Admissions and Recruitment

REPORTS TO: Managing Director, Social Ventures
POSITION TYPE: Full-Time, Contract (24 months)


Platform by Per Scholas is seeking a dynamic, team-oriented individual to serve as a Senior Associate, Admissions and Recruitment. The Student Recruitment team is critical in identifying the talent it takes to succeed in a tech career. Key activities in this role will be screening and identifying candidates who have entry-level technology skills as well as collecting and organizing sensitive documents. It will be your desire to innovate and try to new methods of sourcing and evaluating talent that will make you great in this role. 


  • Lead information and assessment sessions for prospective candidates 
  • Conduct interviews to select program candidates based on eligibility criteria
  • Coordinate final round interviews and manage the final selection process
  • Enter data in real-time on all applicants and maintain applicant records
  • Use data to drive tactical decisions on the admissions process and inform the recruiting strategy
  • Make appropriate referrals for students that are not selected for the training program
  • Respond to inquiries from prospective candidates
  • Manage applicant enrollment and collection of necessary documents
  • Assist in the coordination of special projects and events (i.e. graduation and class kick-offs)
  • Attend career fairs and recruitment events


Professional Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree or higher preferred, HS Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of two to three years of related work experience in admissions, HR recruiting, or customer or client-facing administrative role, preferably in workforce development or other non-profit organization
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel; knowledge of Google suite and Salesforce preferred
  • Prior knowledge of Per Scholas operations is a plus
